Birds of Space set out to build a seamless, blockchain-powered NFT ecosystem where users could buy, sell, trade, and stake NFTs. Envazia took on the challenge of creating a fully interconnected system, starting with an NFT marketplace and expanding into an innovative breeding and staking platform called NEST.
How We Started
The Birds of Space team had a vision for an interactive NFT ecosystem that went beyond simple buying and selling. They wanted a self-sustaining marketplace where users could not only trade NFTs but also stake and breed them for unique rewards. The challenge was to develop a scalable Web3 infrastructure that allowed for seamless NFT trading, on-chain breeding mechanics, and staking rewards—all while ensuring security, decentralization, and user engagement.
NFT Marketplace Development

Our first step was to build the foundation of the ecosystem—the Birds of Space NFT Marketplace. This platform enabled users to:
Buy, sell, and trade NFTs securely on the blockchain.

NEST – The NFT Breeding & Staking Platform

Once the marketplace was live, we developed NEST, an on-chain NFT breeding and staking mechanism. This platform introduced:
NFT Breeding: Users could pair specific NFTs to generate new, exclusive NFTs with unique traits.
Staking Rewards: Holders could lock their NFTs into the NEST platform to earn token rewards over time.
Interconnected Utility: The NFTs gained additional value through staking incentives, keeping the ecosystem dynamic and rewarding for participants.
Development & Blockchain Integration
To ensure seamless functionality across the ecosystem, we implemented:
Smart contracts on Ethereum & Binance Smart Chain to enable NFT trading, breeding, and staking.
Custom NFT metadata & rarity algorithms for the breeding platform.
